The Friends of the Agricultural History Farm Park, Inc., a 501(c) (3) organization, was established in 1995 by Wendy Hanley, Diane Geary, Mike Roth, Laura Ann Whirley, and a group of devoted charter members. Our purpose is to assist M-NCPPC in carrying out the objectives of the Master Plan for the Ag History Farm Park, and interpret past and present farming techniques through programs at the Farm.

These programs include our Annual Gas and Steam Show in April, a Bluegrass Festival in September, a Blacksmith and Arts Show in November, Christmas on the Farm, and involvement in Parks programs such as Heritage Days in June and the Harvest Festival in October. All of these events are open to the public, and more information can be found under the Calendar tab above.

As another part of this mission, a large equipment storage shed was built in 2001 through generous donations of our members. Today, members regularly gather on Wednesday mornings to restore and maintain our antique equipment. Members are encouraged to come out and lend a hand, and share in the wealth of knowledge this crew of volunteers possesses.

Board Meetings are held monthly, and Membership meetings are usually held the third Thursday of March, May, July, September, October, and December in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Parks Building at the Farm. A newsletter is published quarterly. Our current membership roll consists of around 500 members.

We invite you to come out to one of our meetings or events, and join us!
